This is the new video and single from Solange. I was excited to hear that she had new stuff coming out since I enjoyed her previous music. In fact, Sandcastle Disco still plays in my office. I am also a fan of her style. She has a great, eclectic cool sensibility. It was fully on display in the video. Her suits, her shoes, her hairstyle - all amazing. I love color in general so it comes as no surprise that I love the color oxblood. It is a rich, classic color that is on trend this fall. It is beautifully deep, sexy, and sophisticated. I like the idea of a refined yet casual look so I would pair my oxblood accessories with neutral yet luxe pieces from my wardrobe, like a fur vest and graphic silk shirt. The sneaker wedges add that casual vibe-perfect for a weekend outing.

I’d describe this color as a perfect neutral, at least in my world. It is a cool, grayish, light beige color. It was opaque in two coats. Not sugary sweet, yet not too edgy. You could rock this on the weekend and keep it on for work.

If I had a job prospect in a creative field and landed an interview, I would wear this when I went to win them over. The pants are the star of this show. They are a beautiful brocade design. Pair them with a simple white and black placket shirt and blazer vest to let them shine. The accessories are grounding in black, silver and diamond (!) except for the cuff. The cuff adds an extra dose of boldness that capitalizes on the amazing pants. The style is a win, now go get ‘em!
